His is some video of a two year old boy riding a two wheel bicycle.
Jack is riding one of those new like-a-bikes, which is based on the wooden danish prototype. It's like a bike, however, that has no peddles and no brakes. His feet are the brakes. He needs no training wheels because the child can simply stand up when he's falling. The idea behind these bikes is that you teach a kid to balance and turn before you teach them how to peddle. Later, you simply teach them how to peddle and they can ride a real bike. In fact, a peddle-less bike is the way to go. To get a kid off of training wheels, you usually lower the seat and tell them to do what Jack is doing right in this video -- use your feet. So these LIKEaBike products are the way to go. They're all over Europe right now, you can get them in all shapes, prices and sizes. As of Dec. 2006, I haven't seen any others in New York City, although I know there are some out there.
